Shih-Yang LEE
Taiwanese pianist, founder of Ka Dao Yin (aka Caught Up In). He’s a frank and sincere man with a rich sense of humor, seemingly shy but goes wild with passion when his fingers touch the piano. His famous saying is: "There are too many regrets in life, just like post impromptu notes, never coming back."

Yearning KruYearning Kru is a group formed in the UK, with a practice heavily influenced by London urban music, social media content, and improvised noise. Live, Yearning Kru uses layers of found samples and live resampling to build dense structures of sound, which are then gradually worn away and rebuilt. They have released on KALEIDOSCOPE records, and were listed in WIRE magazine's top 10 Electronica albums of 2013.

Performance Introduction︱

Extending techniques of the piano, their performance breaks free from inherent monotonous sounds, and tries to abandon rationality-led thinking through re-sampling and synthesizer effects, allowing improvisation to truly happen spontaneously. It is also in their expectations to break the habitual structure and ways of listening.

Yearning Kru
Yearning Kru 是來自英國的團體，曲風深受倫敦城市音樂、大眾媒體內容、即興噪音影響。現場演出時，使用現成樣本和生活取樣層層堆疊緻密結構，然後再逐漸磨損和重建。他們曾在KALEIDOSCOPE發行專輯，並列入2013年WIRE雜誌的前10名電子樂專輯。

表演簡介︱

運用鋼琴的延伸技巧，脫離固有單調的純粹音色，再透過電腦取樣及效果器的調變，盡可能摒棄理智主導的思考，而是讓即興真切地發生，以達自發性的舒展。亦是某種期許，對於慣性聆聽的習慣與形式結構的突破。
